I love grey furniture! I think it depends on the shade of tan, but I can't see why not. We got grey furniture from BBB and while I hated them every step of the way, the furniture is gorgeous. Here's a pic of it finally put together!

for my twins' nursery we did two walls light gray and two light pink with white furniture. All accents are pink, gold and mint.
Its so hard to get pics of the room. LOL
