I prefer the backpack. But what's nice about arm bags is that some can be clipped to your stroller for easy access when you're strolling. If you're bfing (pumping), I recommend finding a bag with a built in cooler section. So much easier than lugging a cooler too.

I have one that is a shoulder bag but has a crossbody strap that I'll probably use the most. And it fits on stroller.

I have both. I have a Vera Bradley bag that I use most days and a backpack for when we go out to more public places and sometimes relatives houses. It all depends on how much I need to pack with me and who is going to be carrying it the most. LOL My husband prefers the backpack, so he uses that one the most.

I registered for a skip hop bag with a regular strap, no backpack. My sister has been telling me to put a backpack on there for weeks, though. She said it is way easier. I just love how cute the totes are!
