I like Apertif in Bayside, also City Cellar in Westbury--they have live jazz on Sundays.

There is an Apertif in RVC too.
Novita in GC
Parlay in RVC has an amazing brunch
In the city, I always love Sarabeth's and recently went to Vine at the Eventi Hotel which was great.

The Garden City Hotel has the best brunch! It's pricey but I highly recommend it.
I also agree with Parlay in RVC - so good!

It's not cheap, but it's really good.
I have heard that Charlie Meaney's in Valley Stream has a really good brunch, but I haven't tried it yet.
