Closing today (yea) and question
Closing at 1:30 today!
set-up electric, water and cable, looking into oil companies now. Did I forget anything else??

After a 100K we are bringing to closing the only landscaper will be my husband!!! We are broke!! LOL

If they have a service contract for the burner ask them who it is. We have gas and called the company they had a contract with and set up one to continue the maintenance for the system. Also good to know and ask them to bring is any receipts or certificates for work they had done in the house so you know where to call if you have an issue.

The previous owner of our home was amazing- she left everything for us... Right down to he garbage collection schedule. The only other thing I can think of is the alarm company if there's already a system installed on the house. We continued with the alarm company they already had.

Ask if they have owners manuals and if they had any repair men or upgrades made to the house, the names and numbers of who made the repairs or upgrades.

Sprinkler company if you have IG and they haven't been turned on.
Also a good idea to ask who they have used as a plumber and electrician (for future needs).

Thanks all!!! Closing went nice and quick! The guy who sold us the house (it was FSBO) actually lives across the street! So if we have any questions we can ask them. They gave us all the original papers when the house was built in 1962!
