Help with name
Hi so we're between two names for our DD.
Stella Madeline or
Madeline Sofia
DH likes Stella more as a first name and I like Madeline more...so I was wondering if I could get your opinions ladies.

I like them both! But I would choose Madeline because it's less common. Stella has been making a strong comeback

Both are very cute. I'm a big fan of nicknames, so I like Madeline because you could call her Maddie

I love Madeline. When I hear Stella all I hear is Street Car Name Desire.....

I like both! I actually hear Madeline A LOT! Very popular but I guess there's a reason for that. Stella is making a comeback too. It's on my short list of we have a girl. Was my grandma's name.

I love Madeline and wanted to use it but the nickname Maddie is too popular for me between Madeline and Madison. I didn't want an overly popular name. You hear Stella a lot less frequently than maddie.

Madeline. This is what I REALLY wanted to name dd2 and almost used my "I just delivered this baby" clause at birth to name her that. But my dh has a cousin Madeline so I respected his veto. I think it's just such a sophisticated name.
