Little lash boutique in babylon. My daughter had them done last year and is going agian this year before she goes on a cruise. Less maintnance for her. They did a beautiful job. About $250 but she got a more dramatic look.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but for those who have had them, do they stay on pretty well? My concern is that I tend to sleep on my stomach /face. Like - face jammed into pillow lol. So not sure how that would work, but i imagine I'm not the only one who sleeps on my front...

They are high maintenance!
You cant rub eyes or use makeup remover around the eye. Even showering, they advise you don't get too much water on them.
The gradually fall out since they are piggybacked onto your own eyelashes which is good and doesn't damage them.
By week 2/3 is where you have gaps and need them redone.

Too much work for me!

Forget it! I'll stick to primer and good mascara. It's bad enough the maintenance on my highlights/roots!

Its a lot of maintenance they fall off and you need to get a "fill in" every few weeks. Very expensive

I never had them but my daughter was 16 last time she got them and for her was NO maintenance. She wears makeup, swam, showered, used eye maker remover and slept normally and for three weeks they lasted. She was just careful the first 2 days or so.

Re: Eyelash extensions

I have been getting lash extensions now for just under 2 years. I don't think they are high maintenance at all. Its actually less work because I don't have to take off mascara and I tend to wear less eye makeup because I wake up feeling "done" in the morning.

I get fill in's every 2 weeks. Sometimes I can stretch it and go 16-17 days.

My eyelash girl comes to my house so its very easy and I don't have to drive anywhere. She brings it all and I just lay down and relax.

Less work but can be costly.

Have you used Mac's eyelash primer? Wondering how this one compares. I like Mac's, but don't feel that it is a "miracle worker".

Thanks!

I got eyelash extensions for my wedding, and if I had the time and $$$ I would definitely get them on the regular. I loved them. I don't even have time for mani-pedis and regular haircuts though, so lash extensions are the last thing on my list! :)
