I just can't believe women continue to do this to themselves
Is it that you go for a few little things and one thing just leads to another and another as you age and you try to get more and more fixed and it culminates in this mess?
I am trying to figure out the progression.

I am trying to figure out the progression.
My guess is this along with their managers or publicists telling them that they're aging too much and not going to get certain roles.
Also, I think the surgeons push for additional procedures. I had a nose job when I was 20. When I went to meet with the surgeon, after doing my consult he said to me "you know...you really need a chin implant as well. it will even out your face and make a huge difference". Having any additional work wasn't even on my radar. I thought, besides my nose, that my face was just fine. I didn't even entertain the idea of the chin implant, but I will say that he "planted the seed" and now, 10 years later, I find sometimes I look in the mirror and think "wow, I do have a stubby chin. Maybe he was right". I still would NEVER do it because it's totally unnecessary, but I could totally see how someone who basically needs to look good as part of their job could end up going for procedure after procedure if they have a surgeon who casually "suggests" other improvements.

Yeah I get it. But the sad part is, they NEVER look better.

I don't know if its because she's had too many things done or if she stopped having all the botox and this is what she normally looks like when she's botox-free. Its hard to tell.

I don't think this is all Botox and I think it done correctly, Botox can look good. I've seen people look much better after getting it. I think fillers are what make people wind up looking like freaks. I don't know anyone personally who uses them (that I'm aware of) but I've seen it look horrible on plenty of celebs.
My guess is that it's like tattoos for some, it becomes an addiction and you just keep adding? I think this is definitely something where less is more.

I don't think it is the plastic surgery you are noticing. I think you are looking at a picture of her without full makeup and hair. In comparison to the air brushed photos we normally see, she looks like crap.

Yes Robert Downey Jr was just on Howard Stern. And Howard asked him if he has ever had done? ever considered getting work? He said no as of right now he def is aging gracefully BUT he was once speaking with a Dr at a party who told him he could use some work...
WHAT? That man is so handsome and is aging gracefully I cant believe anyone would EVER tell him he could use a lil something. BUT that is what they do. They plant a seed and thats all they need to do.
I think its the pressure from outside people to get the younger roles, their own insecurities, and someone planting a seed.
I mean Im only 36 I see things I would LOVE to get done. But if I start now what happens when Im 50? I mean Its gotta suck going from being cast as the hot chick to the hot chicks mother. I look at 21 year olds like OMG AM I REALLY 15 YEARS OLDER THAN YOU?! OMG WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? WASNT I 21 yesterday? lol Now add the whole world staring at you and saying OMG SHE GOT OLD! OMG SHE GOT CAST AS THE HOT CHICKS MOM SHES NOT THE HOT CHICK ANYMORE. I wouldnt feel too good about myself.
