What would you bring for a day at the vineyard?
What would you bring for a day at the vineyard?
My girlfriends and I are going Saturday to one in CT. They said they have snacks to purchase but encourage you to bring a picnic.
So far I am going to pick up cheese and an Italian meats small platter and pick up bread from a bakery in the morning.
What else would you bring?

I usually bring a trail mix type thing- almonds, dried fruit etc.
Then some cheese and crackers
Grapes and apples
And make a nice cheese/fruit platter with all that.
If it's going to be a long day I will also bring sandwiches and chips, etc

This. We usually try to find a store nearby and we pop in for some different cheeses, cold cuts, chips, and a french bread. LOL.

Bread with some type of olive oil dipping
Hummus with wheat thins or pitas
Cheese and crackers
Grapes
Antipasta type platter
My friend always makes a focaccia bread
Remember to bring paper towels and some cutlery. It's very helpful!

What would you bring for a day at the vineyard?
We bring bagels and mimosas for the ride out and a cooler with sandwiches for lunch. Someone usually brings some snacks like chips, dips, cheese platter. Also bring a case of water if the limo doesn't provide one

Definitely cheese, olives, charcuterie, maybe a fig bar and some honey, almonds and walnuts and some pears. They have awesome crackers and breads at Fairway.

And I include cookies b/c no meal is complete w/o ccookies according to my husband
