I'm going to kill my DH!!

As I have been gagging at all food and want to toss my fridge out to the curb, he decided he was going to make himself Pork chops soaked in vinegar and then fried in oil. This has to be the most disgusting thought of food and is stinking up our whole house... Oh and then to "make me feel better" ate he ate dinner outside on the patio!!! For real the whole house stinks, you might as well just eat in the dining room.

Awwww . I totally understand what you are going through. DH cooked ground turkey early in my pregnancy and the smell just grossed me out so much. I still won't eat it.

DH makes bacon a couple times a week but I swear it smells for days. I was so nauseous. I asked if he could wait for me to leave for work before he made it and I could still smell it when I walked in the door 8 hours later!

Oh I feel for you! My husband cooked fish a few weeks ago, fried the nasty fish he caught from fishing earlier that day. He did not open 1 window, or turn on the vent! I came home from the store and it was disgusting!!! He thought I was crazy.

So i never had morning sickness or anything with my pregnancy but I did have major smell and food aversions.
I remember that the only time i ever threw up while pregnant was when I went in the fridge and there was this carcass of a whole chicken in there that DH had made. I took one look at it, smelled it, and ran to the bathroom and vomited up my dinner.
That was the only time I puked my whole pregnancy. Just the site of it and/or the smell put me over the edge.


And also he would cook burgers on the foreman grill because it was winter and the stench would make me soooo sick! I told him he had to cook them in the garage on that thing with the garage door open to vent the smell.

Do you know that to this day, the smell of a Foreman grill still makes me a little queasy?

My dh used to bbq at the height of my morning sickness. The combo of the food cooking and the smell from the bbq was the perfect storm. I couldnt eat bbq for a couple of years cause of it. True story lol

Ugh. My DH made chicken with shake 'n bake when I was preggo, and the thought of it to this day makes me want to barf.

Hahaha omg I'm just reading most of these!! God men! I came home tonight to the smell of Asian chicken. Needless to say I ate chips and guacamole outside. I told him after today he cannot cook in this house! My central air is on and I'm not gonna turn it off just to open the windows!!! He got a new BBQ for his birthday he can use that!!! And he thinks I'm the crazy one that every smell is making me gag until I'm crying. If only our hubby's knew what smells do to us! I may never eat again!!

Lucky for me, my husband has never cooked a meal in his life.

But the smells. Oof. I feel your pain!
