When will it stop!?!?
I'm so nauseous! I'm 9 weeks 4 days and so nauseous I can barely breath. I had zero nausea with my son so I'm not sure how much more of this I'm in store for. I'm thinking this must be a girl since I'm just stop stock but I'm site it's just because I'm 3 years older this time at 35. I have the maternity 21 test next Friday so I'll know the sex soon. Any advice?

I'm having my first and its twins. I just posted about managing morning sickness. I feel nausea all the time. For now, I'm trying everything and have had some success keeping it at bay. I feel worse at night then I do in the mornings. But I'm taking my probiotics 3x daily, my prenatal at night and sleeping with sea bands on and wearing those as much as I can. My RE also recommended preggy pops and b-natal chews. I got them yesterday and did 3 yesterday and so far I only had 1 episode of nausea last night that eventually went away. I've also been chewing gum and sucking on lemon candies for the past week which seem to help. I also have been eating pretzels like its my job and drinking seltzer. I feel your pain with the nausea!!!

Worst part is I have celiac so I can't even have a ton of carbs to help. I had gluten free pasta last night that I was able to get down without nausea. My nausea is mostly at night as well. My husband calls it night sickness since it's never in the morning. I take my prenatal in the am since I'm sure it would make my nausea worse at night. Thanks for the response.

Re: When will it stop!?!?
With both of my pregnancies, my MS lasted until 16 weeks. It actually peaked around 9 - 10 weeks. I had all day sickness and nothing (not even Zofran) helped it. For most women it passes after the first trimester. Hang in there! I hope it gets better for you soon

Re: When will it stop!?!?
of course it's no science, but most people do start to feel better in their 13th week. I do have friends though who were really sick until 18 weeks. I don't think I know anyone who said they were really sick their whole pregnancy. I had nausea until my 12ish week. I agree with PP between week 9-10 was the worst!!!! I also had dysgeusia which is a sour/metalic taste in your mouth. I couldn't win either because with the nausea I wanted to eat carbs, but the carbs made the dysgeusia more intense. The dysgeusia was more manageable when I ate protein, but protein made me feel sick. I just ate what I could and then immediately chewed gum. I was going through more than a half a pack of gum a day.
FWIW it may be a boy or a girl. I had no morning sickness or nausea with DD1. I was really sick this time and the results of my MaterniT21 said another is on the way for me. There has been ZERO similarities between these two pregnancies. You just never know!

Totally agree on this. My first born was a boy and this one is a girl. I had MS (all day sickness) with BOTH pregnancies from exactly 5 weeks to exactly 16 weeks (it was down to the DAY with both). Because it was SO identical I was sure I was having a boy again. Like, I was positive. The pregnancies were just so much alike that I was convinced I was having another boy. Nope. It's a girl. So, I agree with PP that it could be either. I dont think the sex has anything to do with how your body reacts to the pregnancy.

Re: When will it stop!?!?
Thanks eveveryone. Still crazy nauseous but I find the more I east the better I feel. I'm going to be fat so fast, lol! And for the record I'll be super excited if it's a boy or girl. I've always wanted 2 boys but I've been having some despite for a little girl recently, so either way I'll be excited! I just want a healthy baby. And as much add I hate the nausea it's a nice reminder I'm sol pregnant.
