Bad sunburn during pregnancy
Anyone have very bad sunburn and found something that actually worked? I am 36 weeks and my thighs r both so sunburned and swollen. I have been trying oatmeal baths and aloe along with white Vinegar but am in so much pain. I can hardly walk due to the stiffness in my legs. Any suggestions?

Yes. I smother my legs in aloe and then lay wet towels that I had put in the fridge over the burn for like an hour. It helped me a lot.

How long did it take yours to start healing? Were they also swollen?

Re: Bad sunburn during pregnancy
Hmm I've done it a few times. One time I had one streak down my leg and it healed overnight. The other time it was my arms and they were pretty bad...took about 3-4 days but the 2nd day after using the towels I saw improvement. Not sure how swollen they were though.
If they're really bad you may have had an allergic reaction to the sun. If you try home treatment and dont see any improvement in a day or 2 I would call the doctor.
