ANy thoughts?
So I am 2 weeks late with my period. First time ever where I am this late AND not pregnant. I have taken a dozen pregnancy tests, all negative.
Back story: I have HPV, 2 years ago I had pre-cancerous cells frozen off of my cervix with chryosurgery. My last 2 paps have been clean.
Now this. I am freaking out something is very wrong. I have bloating, cramping, body aches but no period. I have been under tremendous amounts of stress lately.
What could be wrong? I have a gyno appointment on July 6th, but i keep googling and am freaking out.
ETA; another symptom, frequent pooping.

Re: ANy thoughts?
This is actually very common for me. You just said you are under a lot of stress right? That will do it.
Anything can throw your hormones off- even nothing.
You probably just didn't ovulate this cycle and now everything is thrown off and your hormones are not shifting the way they need to in order to signal your period to start.
I get this ALL the time, I never thought it was anything to worry about. But I don't google anymore. That's the devil

Thank you for replying. I am starting to panic. Cancer is always my initial thought when it comes to my womanhood bc of the HPV. I freak out. I have not been able to talk to anyone about this because I don't want to mention it to my husband because he will freak out.
I know I shouldn't google, I feel so stupid right now.
I can not wait for my gyno appointment, so I can hopefully rule the negative things out.
I initially assumed stress, since my life has been way more stressful than ever before. Add this and the googling and my body is a wreck.
Again, thank you, you put my mind at ease a little bit.

Re: ANy thoughts?
Eat a ton of oranges, pineapple and make tea with parsley. Also have sex. You'll get your period soon!

Is a late period even a sign of cancer? I never knew that. But in your case, I really think it's stress related. Stress can really really mess with your cycle.

Re: ANy thoughts?
Stress plays a major role with your system, messes it up pretty good. Been thru the same, get all the symptoms but not the actual bleeding.
Could it also be the start of perimenopause ? I'm 49, so I am very used to wonky stuff going on. Can't wait for this to be over and done with.

Re: ANy thoughts?
depending on your age you could have low ovarian reserve (happened to me). low on eggs so no ovulation.
can you email your doctor sooner to ask about this?
