Toiletries when traveling
How do you travel with your toiletries? I'm looking for something that can carry toiletries for the whole family...thanks!

I was browsing on amazon for something to store my make up in at home and came across a lot of things like this that woudl probably be good.

What kind of toiletries?? Every hotel has soap body wash and shampoo. I just bring conditioner but when then hotel has more expensive conditioner than what I normally use, I have them bring up like 10 bottles. I have no shame. I also take back as much as I can.

I put bulk stuff in ziplock bags and lay them flat in the mesh zip divider in the suitcase.

I do that too.
And I bring a make up case for my make up

I'm looking for something to put the hairbrushes, deodorant, body lotion, etc in...I have 3 kids so I have to bring more shampoo and conditioner than any place is going to give me. I like the first one, that's sort of along the lines of what I am looking for. Ziplocs just don't cut it for me anymore...I need more organization.

LL Bean has a good expandable travel case, with lots of pockets and a hook for hanging. DH and I each have one.

Toiletries when traveling
I pack things in individual ziplock bags- snack size or quart size then put them into a gallon sized freezer bag. I used to use nice toiletry bags but I got tired of things leaking and having to wash the bags. The container store and REI have some great organizational stuff if you want to invest in some organizers for you stuff.

I have the Sonia Kushuk (sp?) makeup traveler bag from Target, use that for the whole family every time we travel. It holds SO much, all the toiletries for everyone.

I have so many different cases, and I change my mind about what I want to use, depending on the purpose & length & method of travel & if it is just me or me & DH.
I usually prefer to keep hair brushes & styling products seperate, so I can do my hair outside of the bathroom, but leave the hanging case with shared products it eh bathroom
For hair stuff, I usually use a plain zip up make up bag.
Clear plastic ones are good in case of spills.
I like a hanging cosmetic bag for everything that will be used in the bathroom by everyone) and a separate bag for cosmetics. I find it easier to pack smaller bags too.

I just bought this today at the outlet, it was 50% off then another 20% off on top of that! Looks great, thanks for posting about it!
