Just need to vent
I'm thrilled and blessed to be having a baby, but I just need a moment to vent.
I'm 25 weeks and I'm so done. I know I have a long way to go and last time I didnt hit this point until like 36 weeks. I just do not enjoy being pregnant one bit. I feel huge, I was horribly sick for the first 16 weeks, now I'm swelling, hot, have terrible sciatica that just seems to be getting worse every day, I cant sneeze without peeing myself and having to change my underwear, I'm extremely stuffed up (sinuses I guess), the heartburn is full force no matter what I eat or drink, and I have to pee every time I take a sip of water...and if I dont, this baby kicks my bladder and forces it out of me.
To top it off, my DH is great and I shouldn't complain, but he just doesn't "get it". When I complain about my sciatica he basically rolls his eyes at it. I'm lugging overflowing laundry baskets up and down 3 flights of stairs twice a week. Like, WHY am I doing that? I'm 6 months pregnant and in pain. I'm unloading bags of groceries from the car myself. WHY?? He says "you're pregnant, you're not broken". He just doesn't get how hard it is and how uncomfortable it is. I'm at my wits end and I still have 15 weeks to go. I want this baby to cook as long as she needs obviously, but there's a part of me that cant wait for the glorious day that she's out
Okay vent over.

Just need to vent
I am 30 weeks and totally feel the same way. It hasnt been too awful for me sickness wise but I hurt my knee during this pregnancy and they think it is a torn menisicus but cannot do anything for me so I am always in pain, I have very low iron this pregnancy and need to go for weekly iron infusions. I am just done, this heat is awful. I also commute 2 hours into the city each day. My doctor said I can stop working at 32 weeks and I am going to. My job is easy its just getting here and home its awful. I am in constant pain riding the train the seats are terrible.
My husband does not get it at all either. I complain about a pain or how tired I am and he says "of course you always are", REALLY! Funny you mention laundry he text me from the basement asking to help bring up the loads of laundry he folded. I answer no, thanks for thinking of me though with my bum knee and being 30 weeks pregnant! I swear they could never handle being pregnant, bad enough he has a cold and is dying.
I totally get this vent! We also have 4 year old twins who are good girls but they are are 4 and needy so I can never just sit.
My scheduled c-section is 9/30 I am thrilled.

Stop doing laundry! Literally, stop. He'll eventually need clean clothes and decide to help. I didn't do laundry when I was pregnant either time and my husband got used to doing it, so he mostly does our laundry!

Just need to vent
I totally hear you. Im 28 weeks and starting to be OVER IT. I cant sleep bc i cant breathe and have constant heartburn. I have terrible nose bleeds... and this week the baby must be sitting right on top of my bladder bc i feel like im going to pee my pants every second of the day. For some reason i have hemorrhoids this time around, and that takes the cake. It is hot, and im tired. LOL okay rant over. I agree w/ pp -- i sat my DH down just last week and explained to him i need help now. I cant lift bags of groceries, bend down to pick stuff up off the floor, and lug laundry baskets. He is now trying to remember to help. If he didnt i would leave that crap for him to do and let it pile up! I also have a 30lb 2 year old i cannot lift. My first pregnancy was so much worse than this one that i just keep considering myself lucky, but at the same time it sucks regardless. Hang in there!!!

Just need to vent
I was like that for my 2nd pregnancy. I was sooo grateful to be pregnant after years of miscarriages and IF but I was done.
I was nauseous my entire pregnancy, heartburn, back pain, swollen feet, swollen nose, ugly, cranky you name it. I'm sooo glad DD came at 37 weeks because if not I swear I would have taken myself to the hospital and thrown myself on the floor in the maternity ward until someone had mercy on me.
Good news is DD is now 3 months old and it was soo worth it and now just a memory.
The laundry and grocery thing I would strike on. DH did lift stuff for me when I was pregnant because I refused to lug laundry up and down stairs or grocery bags out of the car. Sorry the 9 months are long but short at the same time

Re: Just need to vent
I feel for you. I gave birth to my DD almost 3 yrs ago in August- it was brutally hot and I was big! I can say that seeing my chiropractor really helped. It helped with my sciatica, hip & groin pain and headaches. She also did work on my sinuses. Try to find someone who specializes in pregnancy. Good luck and hang in there. It will all be worth it when you hold that baby in your arms!
