Website for searching?

I know this has been asked before, maybe by me, but what is your favorite search site?
I'm so frustrated with searching online. I mostly use MLSLI, but I'm using it today and can't even limit to 1 town (I can select 1 town or 1 school district, but it still includes others.) The site always seems so buggy.

Re: Website for searching?

install the realtor.com app on your phone. It'll track all of the recently sold and for sale houses based on your current location. The update also shows town boarders which is nice. I'm not on the market to start searching but i'm obsessed with it.

Most of my buyers like Redfin. They say it's user-friendly, has more comprehensive info than some other consumer sites, and is updated frequently.

Stay away from Zillow. In my experience, there are a lot of inaccuracies on that site (and the listing agent can't correct them, because it's a "third party site"). I recently had a listing and Zillow had the open house date/time totally wrong, and it wouldn't let me override their system to correct it. I have no idea where it got the info (MLS and all other real estate sites had the correct info). Taxes on Zillow are often listed incorrectly. And so on.

Listingbook has changed their format a lot and it really isn't as user-friendly. It's not a favorite with buyers any more, in my experience.

Ohh, that stinks. I used it in 2012 and liked it a lot. I liked being able to filter results by type of house, colonial, cape, ranch, etc., because I really only wanted to see colonials.
