Summer business attire
Tomorrow I have to go to the city for a business meeting. My office is casual (there are just 2 of us) and I usually wear jeans or khakis/capris with nice tops, usually short sleeve this time of year.
So I have a nice long sleeved shirt I like but I am hesitant- do women wear long sleeves in the summer? I will be in a conference room all day and also on the train- but I wonder if I'll look silly. Otherwise I was going to wear a sleeveless top with a short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve cardigan which I'd keep on.
I was a teacher till a few years ago so the whole summer-work attire thing is a bit new for me especially in a setting where I have to be a little more dressed than usual.

I wear long sleeves sometimes but my offices loves to keep the temp at around 65. So I am freezing all day long!

I don;t even wear long sleeves in the winter. I would wear a shell and bring a sweater or blazer depending on how formal. I have a meeting today and I have a black sleeveless dress on.

Ditto. Plus the mornings have been cool as well- around 60. And the bus is freezing!

This! But the city is brutal this time of year, especially those subway stations. I would wear tank and a cardigan/blazer.

I don't think you will look silly in long sleeves, just uncomfortable on commute. I do a lot of skirts and dresses in the summer and own 3/4 sleeve sweaters in every color of the rainbow.
