That second trimester "energy" is! I've barely made it to work this week I'm so tired!!!

is this a thing?? if so, i'm so looking forward to it. i literally come home and lay in bed while my 4 y.o. does who knows what. he even started opening the fridge and getting his own snacks after daycare lol.

Each person is different but It'll come. For me, it wasn't so much energy as it is starting to feel "normal" again. Then the 3rd trimester comes and it's all downhill from there lol.

I felt better in 2nd trimester then 1st but still just as tired. If that makes sense

Those baby books lied!!!!  I was really looking forward to not feeling like I need to sleep 24/7!!! Maybe one day I'll wake up and it will just be January!

Wondering where...
I'm wondering the same thing, the only difference for me is now I need a 1 hr nap every afternoon instead of a 2 hr nap. I'm gonna be 16 weeks this Sunday so wondering when if ever I'll be able to get through the day without a nap again. :)

I didn't get any extra energy in my second trimester but I did stop falling asleep sitting up on the couch at 7pm every night without fail. I was still exhausted all day but I at least made it till 8:30pm.

Mine came around 15-16 weeks but still had some fatigue but not as bad as 1st Trimester.

Never happened. I think it's a myth they tell pregnant ladies to get them through the first trimester

Ditto. Zero extra energy for me! I did get a little burst once all the nursery furniture was in and I had my shower since I could start nesting. But that was more me being manic than energetic.

Hahahah I stayed up to a whopping 10pm last night DH was like I haven't seen you at this hour in months! Lol and then my mother graciously reminded me to get used to it because I will never sleep again as a parent! Thanks mom!!!!
I'm off Friday, DH is taking the day off with me, I am secretly happy the weather shows rain as of now because I plan to lay in bed and Netflix with him and the puppy on Friday!!! Maybe I'll leave the house to go to the diner!

It never happened for me. I always said "I got pregnant. I got tired. I stayed tired"
I've slept better in the 16 weeks (omg 16 weeks already!) That she's been here than I did my whole pregnancy!
