Anatomy Scan ?
Had my anatomy scan on Friday and of course baby was not cooperating with viewing the back of the head, so through trans-vaginal ultra sound they saw it and everything looked good (Thank God). While I am driving home, I get a call and a message to go back in 4 weeks for follow-up I call back when I am home and they are closed. I called again today and they said oh its because they missed something or couldn't view the image clear I said I need more details then that. She put me on hold and then states that everyone has a follow-up after 4 weeks for growth, its not just me its everyone. I went to North--shore Manhaset one (Northwell) Has this happened to anyone else? is this true that its standard to go back in 4 weeks after anatomy scan?

Anatomy Scan ?
I have never had to go back 4 weeks after my anatomy scan in either pregnancy. I would call again and ask to speak to a tech or someone that isn't reception. Sounds like they are playing "telephone" and getting the message wrong.

I called back and spoke to a tech, she said in their office its standard for all to come back in 4 weeks up to Dr. to not allow it, I will prob call my doctor later.

Nope- did not have to go back 4 weeks after my anatomy scan. I didn't have another ultrasound until I was 36 weeks and they wanted to make sure baby had turned.
I do have a friend who had to go back because they couldn't get a clear shot of everything, but it's not standard.

I went to Katz also (LIJ) and I had to go back 4 weeks after as well for the growth scan. Then I went 8 weeks after that. Luckily my new OB does it in office so I don't have to go there anymore. I was under the impression that it was standard as well. My pregnancy was through IVF so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it.

Thank you this makes me feel better.
I guess it depends on your practice because I had mine done at Katz - LIJ too and I didn't have to go back 4 weeks later? Maybe your doctor's practice does that.

I had to go back, but that is because I had previous issues in my last pregnancy (preterm)
