Awkward

Dh was dropping off his sperm deposit and out walks mutual friends gushing over their sono. They are really good friends with dh's bf and we have known them for years. They have been ttc for over 10 years.

They were both like this is Vegas, as no one knows we are ttc again and obviously at 8 weeks they don't want anyone to know. I was on the phone with dh so now I know.

The nurse who was working with dh is like this happens a lot more than you would think.

I was once in the waiting room at my RE and a girl a few grades above me from my HS recognized me. Her brother was in my grade, and she was afraid we knew the same people and was like "I'll keep your secret if you keep mine". To this day I never told anyone. And yes, I'm sure it happens ALL the time.

Aww, over 10 years - congrats to them!! Def awkward, I've seen it happen in MY RE's waiting room but not directly to me...yet lol.

When I was TTC DD1 I ran into a girl I was working on a case with. I was doing parent training and she was doing the direct support piece.
She mentioned that she was totally open with the family about her infertility struggles but offered to keep my secret. It was a bit awkward because I didn't open up about my fertility struggles until after DD was born. No one, not even my family knew we were going through treatment or even TTC.

While DH and I were in waiting room at RE, he saw a customer of his there with his wife. I saw him
And this guy do the slightest head nod at each other. When we left, he told me who he was.

A year later, they came into the store to get their dog groomed with their baby. He called me as soon as they left. So happy for them
