Some of my favorites:
The Pact by Jodi Picoult Brain on Fire by Susannah Cahallan The Silent Sister by Diane Chamberlain Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight Defending Jacob by William Landay Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover..or any of her books, I love them all!

Honestly, I didn't love "Girl on the Train" as much as I loved some other books in this genre. I think it was overhyped. Very unlikeable, frustrating characters, and I was readily able to figure out the "plot twist" about halfway through.
I recently read "The Good Goodbye" by Carla Buckley, which was a good read. I also just read "Where They Found Her" by Kimberly McCreight, which I liked a lot.
I just started "In A Dark, Dark Wood" by Ruth Ware. It's another suspense book that is supposed to be great, but not far enough in to comment.
If you are looking for lighter, women's fiction type books, I really like Taylor Jenkins Reid books ("After I Do") was my favorite, and Elin Hildebrand (especially some of her earlier books, like "Castaways," "The Island," "etc.).

It was alright...I didn't get all the hype about it. The main character actually annoyed me.

ITA. It was okay, not great. Not sure why it's going to be a movie.

I really liked it, too! It's a fast paced read and the twist crossed my mind at one point in the book and I thought- no it can't be. So I was still thrown!

Really enjoyed these books as well! I've been on a Harlan Coben kick lately, too.

try the throwaway children, I really liked it. Liane Moriarty is also worth while reading, I recommend the husband's secret, big little lies and what alice forgot.
