My baby boy is here!
My baby boy Eli Alexander was born yesterday via C section. I was scheduled for 9/30 for a repeat csection but he had other plans. He is 7lbs 2oz and has lots of dark brown hair. He is doing fantastic and I am doing good too. I can't sleep from all the noises and people coming in but it's ok I am staring at him.
I was fine this morning but by 11 I told my husband I think this baby will come early. I just knew it. I went to a few stores and while in a Rite Aid I felt a gush and thought maybe I peed a little. I go home and felt it again and again. I called the doctor they said it didn't sound like my water broke but come in. The sono tech said my levels were good and when my doctor checked he saw fluid but the test he did in office was inconclusive. He sent me to Stony Brook and once the nurse saw the fluid she knew right away. I got to the hospital around 6:20 pm not dilated at all. By 8:35 pm he was delivered and I also got a tubal at the same time.
So far my experience has been amazing and so much better then with my twins.
Oh by the way I was 37 weeks 3 days but always measure about a week ahead. I did IVF so sometimes it can be a little off.
I can't wait for my twins to come here tomorrow and meet their baby brother!
