Flu shot
Def get it. The antibodies will be passed in utero and the babies will be too young to get the shot for themselves. The flu in a newborn can be very, very serious.

I agree, anything to prevent the babe from getting sick I would do.

Flu shot
My twins will be here in January so I definitely want to do all I can to keep them healthy especially with the risk of them coming early. Did you guys get the one without preservatives? Or does it not matter?

Flu shot
I completely regret not getting it, especially with my second who nearly died from complications from the flu at 5.5 months old when she was too young to get the flu shot herself.

Flu shot
I got it at my last appointment to protect the baby. I was 24 weeks. DH REFUSED to get it but I told him "if something happened to the baby because you gave her the flu, could you live with yourself." He asked the doctor about scheduling a flu shot yesterday.

Re: Flu shot
It's very dangerous to your babies if you catch the flu. Get the shot. Your OB probably offers it.

Re: Flu shot
I just got my flu shot on Wednesday. I asked for the preservative free shot and thankfully, that was all they had. My DD is due in December and will be too young to get it this flu season so I want to do what I can to protect her during her first winter.
