Information about Vocational Program - First Group - High School or High School Grads
SASI is excited to announce our new VOCATIONAL PROGRAM! We will be offering this program to two different groups. This first group will be those who are in high school or high school grads who would like to seek employment (Aged 17 and up). Group two dates will be coming soon and will be for those who are in college or college grads. This program is specially tailored to the special needs population and will include resume writing, how to look for the appropriate jobs, interview training and coaching as well as follow up with parents for implementation. DATES: October 23rd and November 6th TIME: 12-2:30 pm COST is $50 per participant total for the entire program LOCATION: Stony Brook University (details on registration form) TO REGISTER: Go to SASI's Facebook page: SASI Go to the FILES section at the top of the page and you will find the registration form. All participants must prepay and no refunds will be given. Instructions are on the form itself. SPACE is LIMITED. Once I have your info you can register for the program :) SASI is partnering with Felicia Fleitman of Savvy Hires. Savvy Hires Felicia Fleitman is the Founder of Savvy Hires, a recruitment consulting firm that helps companies create pipeline development strategies through internship initiatives. She also provides personalized candidate coaching services for candidates at any stage of their career. Before starting Savvy Hires, Felicia was the Director of Recruiting at NTT DATA, a top 10 IT integrator and #53 on the Fortune 100 list. Prior, she worked at BevForce/ FoodForce, a boutique recruiting agency where she partnered with high growth food and beverage companies (KIND bar, popchips, Red Bull, and Vita Coco, to name a few) to place Director, VP, and C-Level candidates. An early employee, Felicia grew with the company, becoming the first recruitment manager, and developing several processes and programs, including a robust client training program. She began her career in-house in "big law," where she recruited law students and ran Summer Associate Programs. Felicia is based on Long Island, and makes frequent trips to clients in NYC and around the country. She has been a guest lecturer at several professional development organizations and university classes, a panelist at NYU's education week, and a contributor to the book "How to get a legal job." She also serves as the VP of Membership for the APICS NYCLI Chapter.
