First tri exhaustion
Does anyone have any tips for dealing with first tri exhaustion? I'm so incredibly tired that by the time I get home from work and eat dinner, I just want to sleep. Last night I legit passed out at 8:30, to the point that I don't even remember my husband coming to bed, but now it's 4 am and I'm awake!!
Everything I've seen online says just to take naps when you are tired, but that's not a practical solution since I'm pretty sure that would be frowned upon at work, and if I keep going to bed so early I'm never going to have a normal sleep schedule! Maybe it's my body's way of preparing me for the lack of sleep once baby gets here?

First tri exhaustion
I NEVER now have a normal sleep schedule. First trimester I would just sleep when I could- I would survive work, come home and pass out until work the next day. I would get up 4-5 times a night to pee I was a basket case. Now I sleep better, just wake up to roll over often and my boys are up by 5am kicking away. My body adapted to having no sleep. Just rest when you get home. Know your body will feel better and do what it needs. I know it sucks going to bed at 8:30 but it's your body doing what it needs. It's normal! Hang in there and rest up!!!

First tri exhaustion
I used to do all my chores at 4am, make lunches, clean up etc bc I was a zombie at 7pm. Just go with what your body needs.

First tri exhaustion
I felt like the first trimester was about survival. I would pass out on the couch at 7:30. Making it to 8:30 was a late night for me. Thank God DH was very helpful with my older two! It got better but still not great in the second and third trimesters.

Re: First tri exhaustion
I've been finding that taking a quick 30 min nap after work helps me stay up a little longer. Otherwise I'm passed out on the couch by 730. I still can't find a way to deal with the insomnia after waking up to pee every night though lol.

First tri exhaustion
Today I made it to about 10!!! But I'm still awake now, bc I had to pee. Glad to hear I'm not doing anything "wrong" by just giving in to the tiredness though!

Re: First tri exhaustion
Frowned upon my foot. I napped during my lunch hour at work and no one said boo. It was my time anyway! Early in my pregnancy I'd nap on the couch or one of the chairs in the lunch room but when I got too big and uncomfortable for that, I'd go into our privacy/nursing room. No one ever used it and I now pump so I got well acquainted with the room.

Haha - I think I would have to tell my boss why I need to nap though, and I'm not ready to spill the beans!
