Thanksgiving Meal

Being from a Dominican family we barely get to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Would love to cook a traditional meal for my family. Can anyone share some recipes please. Here are some of the dishes I would like to make.

Turkey
Mash Potatoes
Mac n Cheese
Stuffing
cranberry sauce
gravy

Besides dessert, anything else I'm missing?

Re: Thanskgiving Meal

I always love rolls and a vegetable, like string beans or broccoli or a fresh salad. But you have the basics there.

This is the best stuffing and cranberry sauce ever!!!

Sausage/Chestnut/Cranberry Stuffing:

Ingredients:
14oz Bag of Herbed Stuffing
8 oz. of Shelled Roasted Chestnuts
1 lb. of Sweet Italian Sausage
2 Medium Spanish Onions Chopped
1 Celery Heart —Chopped
4 Carrots, chopped or shredded
16 oz. Turkey or Chicken Stock
6 oz. of Dried Cranberries
3 sprigs fresh rosemary and fresh thyme
1/2 Stick of Butter
1/4 cup olive oil

In a large sauce pan, add butter, oil, sausage, onions, and celery. Season with salt and pepper, saute´ for 10–15 minutes on medium heat until sausage is cooked. Add fresh herbs, chestnuts, cranberries, and carrots and saute´ for two minutes. Now add stock and mix in herb stuffing until all the stockisabsorbed. Removefromheatandtransferintoan oven safe casserole dish. Cook at 350 degrees covered for 15-20 minutes.

Cranberry Sauce

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 12-ounce package Fresh Cranberries

Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil; add cranberries, return to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate until serving time.
