My mom made this for my son's birthday. Every guest who ate it RAVED! We used regular pepper as opposed to white.

I double the recipe & It fits a 9x13 pan
I add some grated cheese and black pepper for flavor
I also add seasoned bread crumbs along the top with pads of butter and bake a little to brown the bread crumbs. Just for an extra something.
It's so creamy and delicious
