Ok...I have heard about the Pineapple Core helping but what is with Acupuncture? I hear a lot of people going but what and how does this help getting pregnant?

Re: Acupuncture
Accupuncture works based on concepts from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
"channels" could be "blocked" (stagnation) that prevent you from conceiving.. i.e low back pain, etc...
One of my teacher actually specializes in Women Fertility in his office in Huntington. I know he has had great success with his patients.
I just started to TTC but I have talked to him already in the event it takes longer than I would like to TTC.

Re: Acupuncture
Thanks for the info...I might try this. Can't hurt...or can it? Does it hurt when they prick you with needles?

I've often thought about doing this but I think my fear of needles keeps preventing me

Re: Acupuncture
Nope you barely feel it. If you are doing IVF this is like a tickle compared to all those injections, lol!

Re: Acupuncture
It doesn't hurt at all, some of the pressure points can feel a little odd when they put the needle in, but I would say on the whole is very relaxing - if you are nervous tell the acupuncturist and they will put a "relaxing" needle in your head first! I just hated taking the complimentary herbs.

They don't go "deep" it's really superficial (no blood!)

Re: Acupuncture
It feels like a tiny little prick for just a second then you don't feel them at all.
I find it extremely relaxing.
I'm still doing them now.
