Bleeding after a D&C

Not sure if this is where I should ask this, but I really did not know where else to go that actually had people actively posting.

But I had a D&C last Tuesday (13th) and the bleeding had always been light and tapering off. Today, I suddenly got a period like bleed out of nowhere. I'm not cramping or anything, and its not overly heavy and not really clotting.

I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this.

Bleeding after a D&C

I just had a D&C in November and the same thing happened to me. It felt like my regular period and it was clotty (as my periods always are - tmi I know).

Re: Bleeding after a D&C

I've had a few D&Cs but my most recent was 3 weeks ago so it's fresh in my mind. The bleeding definitely picked up when I became more active, and I was told that would happen and that it's normal. Chat Icon

Thanks ladies!

Seems to be lighter now, nothing concerning. I leave for FL tomorrow for vacation, so its just a huge pain from an already sad situation.

Thanks for the sympathy! Looking forward to the turn of the new year to get back on the horse (so to speak) Chat Icon

Re: Bleeding after a D&C

I've had a few D&C, they were not all the same. Sometimes not much bleeding and there was the last time where it was for two whole weeks and some days heavier than others.

So sorry for your loss.

I found that the bleeding got heavier when I was more active or lifting. I'm glad to read your update that it seems to have tapered off. I am so sorry for your loss.
