What do you use to get big voluminous curls to stay in your hair?? As in what curling iron/curlers do you use and what hair products (spray, gel etc)?

My hair is naturally wavy, but when i straighten it, i want to have the big curls on the bottom.

I physically cannot manage to use the blow dryer and brush like the salon does.

You need to get Living Proof Dry Volume Spray
That stuff is amazing.

After your hair is completey dry and ready to curl, spray it in your hair in sections- shake before each spray. Then use a curling iron- I also can't curl with a blow dryer and brush- I need a curling iron

This stuff gives my hair so much volume and texture and the curls take better and stay

It's pricey but worth it.

(It's not their dry shampoo- it's a different product- it's called Dry Volume Blast)

What I've been trying lately is straightening with the curling iron, then going back and curling the ends from different angles. It's working less now that my hair is growing longer, so it worked well when my layers weren't as long.
