Where to get eyeglass at a good price?
I am looking for a place that takes insurance. I primarily wear contacts but when I am home or just don't feel like wearing contacts ... to give my eyes a break I wear glasses so I do not wear them all the time.
I have had the same pair for 5 years and need to change my prescription.
I have thought of BJs and Davis Vision ... any other places that take insurance where you can get economical glasses? i do not belong to Costco and believe Warby Parker only works with FSAs.

Where to get eyeglass at a good price?
I buy them online at 39dollarglasses.com. They come quickly, they're located on the island. I mainly wear contacts also, but wear my glasses at night. Love them, and they often have coupons on their FB page

I got mine from Warby Parker. I know they don't accept insurance, but they were so cheap that it wasn't a big deal.

Takes a little time to measure and look
at what matches on the site .. but it was worth it.
Eye dr wanted over $700 for a pair
got it shy of $200 on 39 glasses.com

If you buy the glasses online- how do they measure your face to ensure that the glasses fit you properly?

Where to get eyeglass at a good price?
What I used to do was go to Pearle, etc places like that and try on glasses. Ones I liked i would take a picture of the serial number on the arm and google and find them online alot cheaper.

good question
You measure your face. Also your PD. There are instructions on the website. They also have a great return policy. I inputted the wrong number once, the prescription was wayyy off and they took them back no problem.
I have stanrdard lenses, no bifocals, etc. So mine come out to really be $39 or less with a coupon.

I've gone to Walmart 2x in the past. Was happy both times. I did everything there. The eye exam and the glasses.

I ended up getting them at Cheaper Peepers in Valley Stream! My insurance covered up to $150 for frames and covered lenses in full :) This was the best deal.
Cheaper Peepers has a big selection, plus they sell high end frames like Versace, Ray-Ban, Gucci etc.
