Touring Center-Based Pre-K Schools...
Any tips on what I should look out for or important questions to ask?

The schools will help you because they are so used to it. Look at the other kids in the class to see if you think your child will be a good fit (not sure if you are bringing them). My kids needed a lot of OT help so I was super focused on that-what sensory activities they do, what is the OT gym like, stuff like that. Good luck!

I looked at the classes, teachers/aides, visiting policies, OT dept., speech dept., playground. We asked to sit in on a class with our dc before we made a decision. Several schools allowed this. I also looked for security aspects, where the buses come and go from, who is at the front door and what type of parent involvement they offered.
