Did anyone else have flu in early pregnancy?

As I mentioned yesterday, my DD tested positive for flu. It seems like a mild case. We both had the shot in dec. She only ran fever yesterday. Today it's just cold symptoms. She is eating and drinking. I am now having symptoms. I've had chills all day and a slightly painful cough and so far low grade temp of 99.9. Doc on call told me he doesn't want my temp elevated at all at this early stage (I'm almost 8 w), so I took acetaminophen as soon as it got to that level. He suggested Tamiflu. I gave it to my daughter and she hasn't had any side effects. But I'm nervous to take it pregnant. I hear it makes people feel sick and I already have MS and throw up a couple times a day. Basically, I'm a mess today. Did anyone else have flu while pregnant??

I didn't but I would recommend taking the doctors advice and keep up with fluids so you can avoid dehydration. Can anyone help you with your DD for a few days so you can rest? Feel better!!!

Thank you! My DH was home today and I didn't leave the couch. Unfortunately, he isn't able to take off any days this week. I'll have my 6-year-old (has flu) and 3-year-old (so far she's ok) home tomorrow. I really don't want the grandmothers coming because neither one had the shot (not that it mattered for us). Hopefully I'll manage. I had chicken noodle for dinner and have been sipping Gatorade because of the MS. I'm just really concerned about a fever.

I had it while breastfeeding and took tamiflu. No side effects for me or baby from the tamiflu. Baby never got the flu . I still had 5 Full days of fever. Just letting you know not everyone has side effects from your he tamiflu
