What veggies with spiral ham ?
I'm stuck.
Making mashed potato casserole with caramelized onions, sauteed string beans with mushrooms and shallots, and ?
Was thinking peas & carrots and maybe some hot dinner biscuits or rolls.
Not a salad type group. I made brussel sprouts for NYE and don't want to repeat that.
Apps are shrimp cocktail and a platter of parmesean, mozzarella and manchego cheeses, dried sweet sausage, marinated mushrooms, roasted peppers, baguette with bruschetta.
Dessert will be birthday cake, and pastries.
Might make chocolate strawberries if I have time.
Of course DH is no help.

What veggies with spiral ham ?
Roasted carrots might be nice or roasted butternut squash with cinnamon. I like peas but since your already have a green veggie maybe something different.

My mom did that too, then creamed them. DH doesn't like them creamed.
Roasted carrots sounds good.

Roasted asparagus goes well with ham
You can also roast carrots with garlic or broccoli

I would say almost anything. Brocolli, Roasted or glazed carrots, stuffed mushrooms, asparagus, butternut squash.
