Has anyone seen Moonlight
I saw it last week. And what a movie.
Now this is a movie I can see receiving awards.
Incredible acting and story.
Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.

Haven't seen it yet, but it's on my list. Will probably go next weekend (by myself  )

Has anyone seen Moonlight
Just saw it last night. The acting was superb, but it was so sad on so many levels. The sadness in the boys eyes was hard to take at times.
I just saw Lion as well and I had similar feelings. Both movies opened my eyes to how blessed I have always been.

never knew about it until this AM. Sunday morning interviewed all the actors, the movie looks well done, might go see it

It was such a great movie - amazing performances and really heartbreaking in a lot of ways.
Unfortunately I believe it will get overshadowed by La La Land - which will end up taking a lot of awards.

I have to ask.. what did everyone find so amazing about this movie?
I just finished watching and thought it was incredibly slow and boring. I get the 'point' of it, but it could have been so much more impactful, so much better than it was. NOTHING happened.
Am i missing something?

Saw it this weekend and cannot get it out of my head. I was actually going to post about it today and then saw this. I think it was honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen.
