Christian Loub's or other High End Shoe?

Does anyone own a pair of Christian Louboutins? Are they worth it??
I feel like i NEVER splurge on anything for myself; I keep thinking about getting myself a pair of amazing shoes that I will wear the death out of LOL. But is it worth it? Will they be shoes that I have forever (like investing in a bag)?

If not a CB; any other brand that is worth the money? A pair of shoes that I would wear to weddings, dinner, etc?

A classic black shoe never goes out of style. Go to the store, try on a bunch then order online through ebates to get $$$ back

I agree with above poster
You have to try them on to see what fits you.
I heard CL can be very uncomfortable.
I wouldn't want to spend that kind of cash to torture my feet
Go try on some designer, high end shoes, see which one fits you and you like and go from there.
Don't just buy it because of the name or a red bottom- if you will be investing in something pricey, you want it to fit you an feel fabulous

I have one pair in black, and next week I'm going to pick up another paid in nude.

They're not terribly comfortable, but I never find heels to be. They are incredibly made though-you can absolutely tell the the difference in materials/construction

They are def not comfortable but they DEF make the outfit! Most run small i would def try on in person before buying online......have fun!

I bought about 6 diff louboutins for my wedding and returned them all. Ridiculously uncomfortable. Something changed because 7 yrs ago they were way more comfy. The ones I bought in June were torture. Even the 2 inch heel gave me problems while walking on my carpet!

See I just can't imagine spending that kind of money to be tortured and hobbled.
I can do that for under $100 in my every day shoes.

I am a 4-5" heels every day all day kind of person -
That being said, Louboutins are not easy to walk in. You have to actually concentrate They are not uncomfortable, IMO, but
it's NOT a put it on and go type of shoe.

If you're not an every day heel person, I'd personally go with Manolo Blahnik over CL -

If it's something your looking to wear to weddings and nights out etc. go with something fancier, at the very least a black patent .......

You can wear whatever you want, whenever you want -

I also find Jimmy Choo's to be relatively comfortable.

I don't think it's considered the same caliber, but I have a few pairs of Stewart Weitzman heels and I love them, I usually only wear flats, especially since I broke my foot a few years ago. It's the first pair of heels I can tolerate and wear for extended periods of time.

Louboutins are the most uncomfortable shoes- I have four pairs. They are only meant to walk a few feet at a time.

I have a pair of Valentino rockstuds that are much more walkable. I highly recommend them and they are my most complimented shoe ever. Worth every penny.

I have two pairs of Louboutins, they aren't the most comfortable but I can tolerate them longer than I can any other heels. I have black leather and nude patent leather. I honestly have never found a heel that I can keep on for more than a few hours though.

Monolo Blahnik are very comfortable. Love them better than Loubie's

CL are so comfy to me but I get the 100 which is like 3.5 inches. Nothing over 4. Manolos and Jimmy Choos are comfortable too.
