Nighttime cream

I have been trying to research and read reviews and it's all just so overwhelming! Haha! There are just too many to choose from and sometimes the bad reviews are dumb things (I.e. It was delivered late) so it skews the rating.
Anyways....I'm looking for a cream to put on at night that smooths out skin tone and also helps with wrinkles. I'm early 30s so don't have too many yet but would like to start applying something preventatively. What does everyone use and recommend?

Re: Nighttime cream

I use good old fashioned coconut oil at night.
Cheaper than tbe creams and works better
I am dry in the winter....if you have super oily skin it might be too much

Thanks, do you find it helps to even your complexion or it's just to moisturize?

Re: Nighttime cream

Are you using anything with Retinol/Retin-A in it? That's really your best bet in preventing or diminishing fine lines/wrinkles.

I've been using Cerave Renewing SA lotion and it definitely helps smooth out my skin. (Many women use it at night because it's on the heavier side, but I use during the day as my skin tends to be on the drier side, but not since using this product.) This stuff works amazing on the body too.

I also use glycolic acid (not every night) to help with cell turnover. I use Alpha Skincare 14% glycolic serum or Alpha Skincare 10% oil-free glycolic serum. (Used to be called Alpha Hydrox. It can sometimes be found in Bed Bath or Ulta, but I haven't had much luck of late so I just order from Amazon. I also use their Foaming Face wash. I've been using this line for 20 years. I don't have dark spots but to be honest- dark spots can't be fixed with a cream.
If you have sun spots/dark spots you need to go to a dermo and get them lasered off.

I use Paula's Choice BHA liquid every night and AHA 10% once a week before my night cream

Retinol is good too as a PP mentioned- I use a Paula's Choice Retinol every 3rd night-will up it once my skin gets used to it- I just started

I use Estée Lauder advanced night repair. I haven't found anything to help with dark spots.

Dark spots have to be lasered off. It's really the bottom line.
And once they are gone you have to be super super diligent with the sunscreen or they will come right back.

I'm beyond obsessed with Estee Lauder's Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack. I got it as one of those Sephora points rewards and it's fantastic. My skin is amazing when I wake up.
