wise mommas, so ds doesn't watch tv.... he usually spends free time outside or we are on the move outdoors. between cooking, cleaning, school and extracurricular, we just don't have much time for tv. but all of ds's friends are in school and talk about paw patrol and tv shows which leaves him feeling left out. can someone tell me more about this show and what your pre-schooler are into these days? Paw patrol
PJ Masks
Sesame Street
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Bob the builder
Spongebob (though I can't stand this one)
Bubble Guppies
Little Einstein
Magic schoolbus
I think that's the majority of the preschool "boy" shows. Some will also watch super heroes. So... your kid should also be familiar with
Spider-Man
Batman
Avengers
Superman

My kids are infatuated with Elena of Avalor... but that appeals to an older set

It is a lot of shows... but we do TV sparingly & it does help the kids relate.

I wouldn't stress about it much. There are so many shows out there they can't keep up with everything their friends watch! We don't do any Nick shows so dd hasn't seen paw patrol. She watches Disney jr (pj masks, Elena, sofia, etc), pbs kids (Daniel tiger, ready jet go, dinosaur train), and some Netflix shows (story bots, magic school bus, puffin rock and some girly stuff).

I like the pbs shows (Daniel tiger is great for teaching about emotions, ready Jerry go takes about the planets) and she seems to be outgrowing the Disney stuff anyway. Netflix had some really great educational shows and a lot of total crap so you have to weed through it for sure.
