I go to a salon. I am in my 40's so I find myself going every six weeks...and that's pushing it!

Usually once a month or up to 6 weeks if I'm being lazy. I've been doing it at home but I try to get it done in a salon a few times a year. My roots are grey, especially down my middle part and I have a few around my hairline.

VERY gray, upwards of 60%.

I push it and go every 6 weeks, I really should go every 4 because my hair grows fast.
I do permanent color, do not have the patience to do highlights.

I should color every 4 - sometimes i do - its terrible - my hair is dark so it shows up - I colored my hair at the salon 3 weeks ago and the hairline is gray already - so annoying.

I do it every 4 weeks. I'm not that gray, but they come out a lot on my front part and looks pretty bad if I dont do it that often.

ETA: i do it myself at home.

Every 4 weeks at a salon.

I just started going to the salon to get them covered in the fall of last year. I don't have a lot but its enough for me to go and get them covered.

I should go every 6 weeks, because that is when I start to really see them, but I don't get to the salon until 8 weeks sometimes more.

I just colored them a few weeks ago at home to save some money and because of time.

I'm about 30% gray but have dark hair so it's very noticeable. At 6 weeks I look pretty messy. I tried using the Root Cover Up spray which looked fantastic but my fingernails were brown by the end of the day from touching my hair.

I don't have much. At least I didn't think I did until about 2 weeks ago and I saw my roots in good lighting

I didn't have to time for the salon. So I picked up the Clariol Root Touch Up and did it myself. Worked great. Will use it again for sure!.



ETS: I plan to lighten my hair in a few weeks for a vacation in April. So I will be using this till I get to the salon.

I definitely am noticing a lot more stray greys comin in in the last year or so.

The thing is, I have lots of different shades blonde highlights- and multi tones in my hair from it- so it is not that noticeable as it would be if I was all my natural color (Dark)

So I just go every 8 weeks or so for highlights and such- she does a bunch of stuff - breaks my base color (lightens it) then goes in with high and low lights.

That seems to cover everything.

4 weeks...sometimes I push it to 5. But I am probably 100% grey. I go to a Salon.

I have very few- just enough for me to notice and get annoyed by. I get mini highlights and do the rest a single process, and go a few times a year- so not often. I go to the salon.
