Trump's Budget Cuts
Can you believe what this man wants to slash?!?!?! Because an overpriced, ill conceived wall and increased military spending is far more important than anything else.  SMH
He is destroying our country and government. 
Department cuts
• Health and Human Services, the department responsible for implementing Obamacare and its proposed repeal, would face a $12.6 billion cut -- a 16.2% decrease.
• Environmental Protection Agency: $2.6 billion, or 31.4%.
• State Department: $11 billion, or 28.7%.
• Labor Department: $2.5 billion, or 20.7%.
• Agriculture Department: $5 billion, or 20.7%.
• US Army Corps of Engineers: $1 billion, a 16.3% cut.
• Other double-digit cuts include Commerce at 15.7%; Education at 13.5%; Housing and Urban Development at 13.2%; Transportation at 12.7%, and Interior at 11.7%.
Programs Trump proposes to eliminate
Trump's budget would eliminate funding for some small, independent agencies entirely:
• African Development Foundation
• Appalachian Regional Commission
• Chemical Safety Board
• Corporation for National and Community Service
• Corporation for Public Broadcasting
• Delta Regional Authority
• Denali Commission
• Institute of Museum and Library Services
• Inter-American Foundation
• US Trade and Development Agency
• Legal Services Corporation
• National Endowment for the Arts
• National Endowment for the Humanities
• Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation
• Northern Border Regional Commission
• Overseas Private Investment Corporation
• United States Institute of Peace
• United States Interagency Council on Homelessness
• Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars

And I bet the same people who were screaming about Benghazi (you know, the place under insufficient protection with the current State Department budget) will be thrilled with the "smaller government" budget now.
I read another article that Meals on Wheels will be hit hard. They have several sources of money, so they won't shut down, but they will probably have to cut down the number of people they help.
He's basically cutting funding for Americans, so he can boost his ego and his wallet (and that of his rich cronies).
This budget (hopefully) won't pass. Republican in Congress won't want to tell their state that thousands of the people that voted for them are now without vital services.... they probably won't get reelected if they agree to the budget plan.
However, nothing is normal anymore, so who knows.....

Why doesn't he NOT go to Mar-a-f*cking-Lago and save that money!

Uggh. Watching Mulvaney at the press conference defend cutting aide to struggling countries while children are dying from famine. He defends cutting meals on wheels and after school programs bc they aren't proven to to be effective meanwhile he plans to spend $1.5B this year alone on a wall that many experts say won't work! It's nauseating.

It just still feels like someone has to come out and tell us all we were pranked!
This crap just can't be real.
I was so sure when Spicer came out and said tRump didn't mean "wire tapping" when he said "wire tapping" and he didn't mean "Obama" when he said "Obama" I thought for sure even die hard supporters would have to say NO, Stop the Madness. But, of course, I was proven wrong to believe in people once again and they just continued to eat up the bull$hit.
I have no faith anymore.

Well at least they saved some money on Tillerson's trip to Asia by telling the press to figure out their own travel bc his plane would be too small for them .

Yes! I've seen reports that there will be two or three thousand jobs cut at the epa alone.

Yes! I've seen reports that there will be two or three thousand jobs cut at the epa alone.
He basically brings jobs back to America in certain areas but then cuts them in other. He's a genius

I don't know much about how the budget process works. What happens next? It has to be approved by Congress right? Can Congress make any changes they want and approve it or does it have to go back to the President?
