Speaking of Netflix Series- Slasher
I came across this one while browsing one day and thought it was a movie. Turns out it 's a series.
I like horror movies, scary movies, thrillers, so I started watching.
It's only 7 or 8 episodes and one season so far, but i have to say it's very good if you like that genre.
It actually has a very good storyline and some of the plot twists had me like 
Dean Mcdermott is in it and he is actually pretty good... not likable but good.
I have one episode left, but if you like scary thrillers, this was actually a pretty good one

The scary parts are gory and slasher-ish.
The story line has a mystery to it that is more mental- trying to figure it all out.
But if you don't like gore, it definitely has that factor to it.

My husband hates the 'jump out from behind the door' scary. Blood and gore are ok, just not the jump scares. Trying to figure out if he can handle this.

LOL.... not too much of that jump out of your seat scary.... maybe a few scenes

Not to give too much away, but the story centers around a crime that happened 30 years ago in a small town. And a baby who was orphaned because her parents were brutally murdered. Fast forward to current day and that baby is all grown up and married and moves back to the town, and the very house where her parents were murdered because she inherits the house.
The killer is in jail, but suddenly killings start again- and it seems to be targeting people who were involved with her family 30 years ago- and it's like a tangled web to find out why.
The killings also center around the deadly sins- kind of like in the movie Seven.
