If trump said we were about to be attacked, would you believe him?
If 45 said that there was extremely credible evidence that we were going to be attacked by a foreign enemy, so we needed to attack first, would you believe him?
The sad thing is, I wouldn't. That's a scary prospect. To have a leader that you can't believe, even when it comes down to literal life and death...

No, not without plenty of corroboration from other agencies. Considering it would probably be announced on twitter, definitely not.
There was a commentator yesterday talking about if there were an attack here, how would trump respond and how much credibility does he have? If there were an attack and he quickly declares it was carries out by xyz and wants to immediately respond with actions abc, how would that go? He is clearly prone to rash responses not necessarily based in fact so how can we possibly trust him to handle those situations with care?

I don't believe a single word out of his mouth or from any of his advisors. Quite frankly, I don't believe anything coming out of the WH right now. Trump believes what he wants to believe even when presented with irrefutable facts. In addition, his penchant for conspiracy theories is very troubling and adversely affects his thinking process and judgement. Not to mention he has shown to be a vengeful person even at the smallest slight.
Unless numerous agencies support and back up his claims, I won't take anything he says at face value.

I chose the second option. I wouldn't immediately think he was lying but I would be really skeptical. I don't know why I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because he certainly does not deserve it.

Unfortunately, I believe nothing coming out of the WH. You lose all credibility when you make ridiculous wiretapping, voter fraud accusations, troll Twitter, exaggerate crowd sizes, coin ridiculous terms like 'alternative facts', attack journalists, provoke leaders of other nations, surround yourself with questionable people, and flat out lie nonstop. Sad!

Honestly, I don't believe a damn thing that comes out of his face so to answer your question, no, I wouldn't believe him. I would 100% think he was lying so that he could use his power and "flex his muscles" even if it wasn't warranted.
This is what happens when you lie over and over again, EVERY SINGLE DAY..................you lose the trust and faith of the people. I think he would lie and say absolutely ANYTHING in order to do what HE wants.
I pray every single day that he's removed from office before he does something that will truly hurt us all, like calling for an attack on another country which in all likelihood would be unwarranted. He seems to get all of his information and "intelligence info" from his crazy head while sitting on the $hitter at Mar A Lago.

Well, I have always taught my children that if you lie (especially if you lie "repeatedly," but I don't need to use that word with my kids because they are not habitual liars like the piece of s$*t in the White House), then nobody will believe you when you are telling the truth. So, yeah, I vote for I will never believe anything he says. Ever.
