Trump's interview with the Associated Press

https://apnews.com/c810d7de280a47e88848b0ac74690c83

Take it in small doses, though.... it's painful to read through. It's the ramblings of an unstable man who has no idea how to speak in complete sentences, or to be honest about anything.

Re: Trump's interview with the Associated Press

It's just unreal!! But people still think he's good for the country. I'm sorry, but regardless of politics, having a "president" who can't form complete sentences, who has no knowledge of government or the law or the world outside his own golden palace and who has zero concept of the difference between truth and fiction - that is not ok! That is "pretty f'in far from ok!"
I just don't get it!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Trump's interview with the Associated Press

...
TRUMP: Oh I'm seeing numbers — $24 billion, I think I'll do it for $10 billion or less. That's not a lot of money relative to what we're talking about. If we stop 1 percent of the drugs from coming in — and we'll stop all of it. But if we stop 1 percent of the drugs because we have the wall — they're coming around in certain areas, but if you have a wall, they can't do it because it's a real wall. That's a tremendously good investment, 1 percent. The drugs pouring through on the southern border are unbelievable. We're becoming a drug culture, there's so much. And most of it's coming from the southern border. The wall will stop the drugs.
...
AP: You think $10 billion or less.

TRUMP: I think $10 billion or less. And if I do a super-duper, higher, better, better security, everything else, maybe it goes a little bit more. But it's not going to be anywhere near (those) kind of numbers. And they're using those numbers; they're using the high numbers to make it sound impalatable (sic). And the fact it's going to cost much less money, just like the airplane I told you about, which I hope you can write about.
...

Even at $10 billion (or less, or more), he thinks it's a good investment if it stops 1% of drugs crossing the border? Wow, for a businessman, he doesn't understand the concept of "good investment"... Chat Icon Chat Icon

Then again, his idea of a "good investment", is where he uses other people's money, and if it succeeds, he gets the benefits, but if it fails (and most of his project do fail), he just walks away and blames everyone else, and takes none of the hits, either financially, or responsibility.

He is never going to get drugs to stop coming in. No one will. He may be able to slow it down but for how long? Aren't there drug tunnels as is? If there inst I am sure now there will be. The cartels will find another way. Trends have shown a decrease in drug trafficking as is.

He really wants to help he should legalize marijuana here for the whole country. The traffick of marijuana has decreased and they believe it due to it being legal in some states. Imagine if it was legal nation wide? There would be no reason for Mexico to be trafficking the marijuana and the government will probably save and make money of legalizing it.

The trafficking of other drugs will never stop but it will also trend one way or another depending on what the current popular drug choice is. I am sure there is an increase in heroin trafficking but that because more people are addicted to it now.

We should spend 10 billion dollars on having more rehabs opportunities available for everyone. Give money To local police departments to use to catch the local dealer distributing the drugs! Give money to border patrol to up there patrols and get them maybe better equipment to make their jobs easier.

Also aren't there tons of things that have to happen to even make this wall happen. I see even if congress stupidly approves this wall tons of money is going to be wasted when they figure out in the long run and it can't be done!

Rambling madman.

I think it's ironic when he calls other people "stupid"................if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black I don't know what is.

He is a GIANT national embarrassment and EVERYONE in this country, even his supporters, should have a REAL problem with the fact that he's an incoherent disaster who cannot even complete a single intelligent sentence. Chat Icon

I really think he's suffering from dementia or some kind of illness. It's not normal. Ivanka and Jared are the ones running the country.

TRUMP: It had 9.2 million people. It's the highest they've ever had. On any, on air, (CBS "Face the Nation" host John) Dickerson had 5.2 million people. It's the highest for "Face the Nation" or as I call it, "Deface the Nation." It's the highest for "Deface the Nation" since the World Trade Center. Since the World Trade Center came down. It's a tremendous advantage.
...

In addition to everything else about him, comparing viewer numbers to when the WTC came down is just beyond disgusting. Chat Icon Chat Icon

He thinks he is living in a reality television show i swear. its like the truman show except its just called TRUMP! and we are the ones getting tricked...

yet 98% of his voters still love him. Makes me so depressed and hopeless about our society and our future and just everything.

I'd cry about it if I had the energy. He breaks rules. he lies. he's not intelligent. hes a narcissist. He cares only about himself and the power and wealth and attention that comes with being a celebrity. How the heck is he running our country?!?

Why does half of our country just not care or believe this is what we need.

Ive barely even posted about this but lately i just want to scream
