President Donald Trump wants legislative wins and is poised for one or two. But his recent comments on one bill raise questions about how closely he follows the details.
His recent description of the health care bill suggested he was unfamiliar with how the bill addresses coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. Congressional leaders and White House aides have struggled to agree on the level of optimism and timing for a vote.
The White House on Monday struggled to explain the president's assertion that the health care bill guaranteed coverage for people pre-existing conditions.
He said on CBS News "pre-existing conditions are in the bill. And I mandate it."
The legislation being considered by House Republicans, in fact, does not require such coverage and would allow states to opt out of the requirement under certain circumstances.
He honestly doesn't give a crap about anyone or anything other than his own ego and his own wallet. There isn't a single thing he's attempted to do that doesn't either undo something Obama did (for trump's own ego), increase his personal wealth or that of his cronies, or boost his own ego.
He constantly lies outright to everyone, even when there is mountains of proof otherwise. He's telling people who are sitting next to dozens of empty chairs that the arena is packed. He lies about what is written in bills. Hey donald, even though you can't read well, the rest of the country can!...

Honestly, it's REALLY shocking just how freely and easily this man lies. Blatant, outright lies. You could sit there with proof in hand for him and he'd still just lie and lie and lie. It's just unreal.
NO shock that he has NO idea what's in the healthcare bill, he has NO clue about ANYTHING that is going on around him. Literally NO clue. He'd have to stop tweeting and golfing for five minutes in order to understand of do anything and we all know that's NOT happening.

Honestly, it's REALLY shocking just how freely and easily this man lies. Blatant, outright lies. You could sit there with proof in hand for him and he'd still just lie and lie and lie. It's just unreal.

Not to this extreme, but he actually did this on his first day on the job... he lied about the weather on Inauguration Day....
Trump also misrepresented what happened to the weather during his swearing in. He said he felt a few drops of rain as he started delivering his address, but then, “God looked down and, and he said we’re not going to let it rain on your speech..?.?.The truth is it stopped immediately.”
Light rain continued to fall through the first few minutes of the speech — and VIP’s at the dais took out ponchos, including former president George W. Bush — and then quit. Trump said there was a downpour right after he finished, which did not occur.
