Scandal-spoilers about season finale
I was so shocked at the end. How involved do you think Cyrus was? Did he really just "plant the seed" in Luna's mind? He seemed so innocent in prison. Do you think he was truly surprised when Liv told him it was Luna?

I don't think Luna had the power or money to pull that off without serious help. How much did Abby get? $300 million?? Where did that come from? How would Luna know about Maya? And the other paleontologist that Eli loved.

Yeah, there are way too many unanswered questions that will probably remain unanswered. I feel like the writing on this show sucks. It's very hard to follow half the time. I thought that maybe it was going to be that Donald Trump-like guy who ran for President because he had the resources to do something like that.

I thought that maybe it was going to be that Donald Trump-like guy who ran for President because he had the resources to do something like that.
I agree. I used to watch Scandal religiously, but this season and last season, I cannot follow the story line at all anymore. I gave up a few shows ago. I'm done.

They really messed this story line up, the ending was so far fetched. I mean, I could see Cyrus being the bad guy but Luna??

Luna gave up too quickly when she took the pills, she's got kids.
She got coerced into it, and probably whoever did threatened the life of her children.
Why else would a mother willingly kill herself, if not to protect her children.
They make it too easy for us to think Cyrus planned the whole thing just to be VP.

Scandal-spoilers about season finale
So stupid with the Luna twist. It felt like they were rushing to finish the story line and just picked her name out of a hat. Frankie was all family man, they have a sick child and they are claiming that Luna had the plan to kill Frankie, leave their sick child without a father all to promote his platform. Ridiculous.
And now that Olivia is head of that secret organization her father ran. Also so far fetched. She was against that for so long and now she wants to run it and be basically an assassin? I thought she was a gladiator - all for justice. This show really has taken a nose dive. I think Shonda is really slipping or just doesn't give a fluck anymore. Grey's, Scandal, and I hate How to Get Away with Murder. Her crown is tarnishing. Wow that turned into a mini vent lol sorry! :).

I have to say when the show started the turn of B6-13 and all that nonsense THAT is when it took a dive.
The show SOARED when they were fixers. Those first 2 seasons were AMAZING. As soon as B6-13 cam in they stopped being fixers.
And when they stopped fixing it started sucking.
I'm really upset. I mean, I DO like the fact that black woman has taken power. but...turning Oliva into a murderer? Turning her into THEM? Making HER Command?
And we all missed something. There was O reason for Cyrus to turn down the offer of being VP when they had the secret meeting when the drone came in. He was offered it and it would have been fine for him to take it right there. There LITERALLY was no reason for him to decline.
--At that point Frankie was dead. His "agenda" would have been forwarded weather Luna was VP or Cyrus.
--Did Cyrus know they would uncover Luna and kill her? This way her secret dies with her and then he can cleanly become VP? But Luna didn't know who hired her to kill Frankie.
So NOTHING would have changed if Cyrus said yes to Mellie at the secret meeting when the drone was there.
But to make Olivia Command and make her a bad guy.....I don't like that.
I don't like they don't do good old fashioned fixing anymore.
