Menendez Brothers movie on Lifetime
Anyone watch?
I thought it was done well
Surprised to see Courtney Love
What do we think? Should they be in jail for life?
I'm a sucker and feel it is too harsh of a sentence
They were abused
It happened so long ago I wonder if it was today if the same sentence would have been given
Granted murder is not what they should have done to their parents I don't agree with that at all
I just find the whole story incredibly sad

It was late when I turned it on so missed some of it and fell asleep. I plan on watching it again. I feel they were definitely abused.

It's from 1994 but I know I saw it on Lifetime like 10 years or so ago

I didn't watch but I did watch that 20/20 a few months ago
And I didn't think this was fair. 1st trial the abuse allegations were allowed. (I can't remember if they were found not guilty or if it was a mistrial)
Retried them and this time the abuse allegations were not allowed in the trial and they were found guilty.
I don't get how once it could be allowed and once not

Because it's hearsay and there wasn't a lick of proof or evidence that they were sexually abused. The first trial ended in a hung jury.
