Who has one? What healthy and tasty recipes do you make?

Pros? Cons?

Does the food come out over cooked like a crock?

I have been thinking about getting it too so I have been reading lot of reviews and read posts on their Facebook page. The pros are, unlike crockpot, things cook pretty quick. It can be used as a pressure cooker, yogurt maker, you can sauté in it, make cakes etc. It seems you can do a lot more with instant pot.

Two of my good friends have it and swear by it. I belong to the FB group and it looks pretty cool, thinking of getting one soon!

Re: Instantpot

I have one and I really like it. HOWEVER...

I tend to cook very "light" and calorie conscious meals, plus I use it for convenience, so multi step recipes and recipes that require more than "dump and go" are out for me. I think if I were more open to trying all recipes I'd like it even more and would use it more. Right now I use it about twice a week.

Re: Instantpot

Is it like a pressure cooker ?

Those things scare the bejesus out of me. My mom used one all the time.

I also cook the way you do. Can you share recipes?
