PMS - rage issues
Lately, i have having extreme rage issues while PMS-ing...i'm on birth control, and have been for about 1 year now. I was off it for a while while having kids, and prior to that i was on it for YEARS....never had this issue before. anyone experience this and any recommendations on how to help?? I find myself screaming like a lunatic (outside the normal mom-gone-crazy stuff) and cant seem to get it under control...i feel like its definitely hormonal because its only happened around my period time....

yes, I experienced this at for a period of time. You can take medication right before you start to PMS. I cant remember if it was antidepressants or something else. Call your GYN

Ask your Dr for a different Pill. When you're one BCP, you "Shouldn't" have as bad of symptoms if you weren't. You may just need to change it up to find out that better suits you
But I understand. I'm not on BCP and I get PMS starting right after I ovulate. Get's intense the week before AF and now i get the pleasure of Hot Flashes for a few days b4 AF as well. 40 has been a mind f@ck for me lol But the severe PMS has been an issue for a while. There were 2 things that ever helped me. 1 was acupuncture. and the other was daily exercise and better diet - I know I know - nobody wants to hear that - but it's true. When I was going to the gym 5 days a week and eating 95% healthy choices, my period would come and go with hardly any issue.

Are you peri-menopause age? If you are, the pill may be helping to keep those symptoms in check. Then when you start the placebos, all the symptoms come rushing back very quickly. I notice my anger and hot flashes are increased on the placebos.
