Swimming Lessons?
Any recommendations for swimming lessons? Around Syosset or about 20 minutes driving would be ideal. DS has high functioning ASD and has been taking swim lessons for 2 years now but he's not making progress at his current school. Please share your suggestions
TIA

We don't live near there, but we've been very happy with Saf-T-Swim.

Swimming Lessons?
We are very happy with Long Island Swim School in Garden City and my son has ADHD as well. I believe they also have a school in Syosset I would definitely give them a try!

Swimming Lessons?
Infant Swimming Resource with Melissa Larsen. It's self rescue/drowning prevention. It's an amazing program.

A lot of people like ISR bc what it promises but depending on the age and child it can be very traumatizing and you may need refreshers. If you have a child with anxiety or on the spectrum, it may very well not be a good fit.
