I always thought black jeans with an essential. I own a few pairs and where them weekly since we're allowed to wear jeans to work. They're so versatile. Pair them up with a blazer and nice heels or dress them down with a t-shirt and sneakers. Love, love black jeans.

I love black jeans but my question is where do you find them where they don’t smell like fire?
So many jeans, especially the darker wash and definitely the black jeans smell of fire/melted plastic. So much so that i smell pants before trying them on! People must think I’m nuts but it’s terrible. I have bought them in the hopes the smell will wash out and it doesn’t. Just makes whatever I wash with them stink as well.
OMG, I'm so glad you said this! Every few years, since I was a teenager I try buying a pair of black jeans and can never abide by the smell! Even after you wash them a trillion times!

i only wear black jeans.. well...WORE pre preg. i got them from madewell. i barely wash them, but when i do its with woolite darks, inside out - cold water. they havent faded

I used to think black jeans were very dated looking, but I've seen some cute ones on people and they look nice. Especially in a skinny jean for some reason. I just worry about fading, a black denim turning gray.
