Zoya people

I see there are a few different base and top coats. Which is the very basic one? Is it Armour and Anchor?

ETA: Also how is the polish remover?

Yup, Anchor is the classic base coat and Armor is the classic top coat. They are both great! The remover is pretty good as well, especially for removing glitter.

I’m not into glitter, nothing too “out there”, but I do like a pop of color and nothing light. I once got a light color at the salon and I legit cried after Chat Icon Chat Icon (It was a bad day, the nails were my breaking point lol)

I lusually ike dark red/dark pink/mauve/dark blue/grey

Here's some of my faves that fit into those colors:
Aubrey
Ki
Alix
Indigo (has tiiiiiiny glitter)
Anais
Robyn
Mae

Other ones I love:
Faye
Austine
Maria Luisa top coat
Tinsley
Aggie

Also the Naked Manicure kit is great, especially in the winter when nails need some extra TLC.

Lol! No, Pearljamchick has me beat!
I do love the polish but never tried the base and top coat. Got a sample of the remover with my last order and really like it....it actually smells spa like...not like chemicals!

The remover is awesome! I never realized how one could be so much better than others. I received a free sample of the Zoya remover a while ago and never used it. Last week I had a dark wine color on my nails and was trying to remove it at home. With my regular remover it wasn’t coming off completely - was leaving residue that looked terrible. Tried the Zoya remover and the color came off so easily.

I ended up ordering anchor, armor, polish remover, and the colors Aubrey, and Natty. I can’t wait to try the nail polish remover in particular.

The polish I’ll be taking with me to my salon to use when I get manicures. I can’t manage a mani on my own. I may be the least coordinated person on the planet. But hey. I can tie my shoes, so there’s that Chat Icon

Thanks again ladies!! And PearlJam thanks for all the color recs, you must have a salon in your house!!

I seriously hate nail polish remover Bc of the smell. I’d rather wait for the polish to just chip off and look like crap before I dig out the bottle or remover. I can’t wait to try this one since it’s not supposed to have that nasty chemical smell.

I have non acetone remover now and it still smells, and takes double the amount to use because it doesn’t work well.

Re: Zoya people

If the smell of remover really bothers you, then you'll be really happy with Zoya's remover. And it'll keep you from picking off your polish which can be really bad for your nails!

I have a nail polish problem. I buy them, I make them, I sometimes stare at my collection and feel an inner sense of peace. I drunk bought a bunch of indies that did Black Friday sales online with like 1 am release times and then went back in the morning, sober, and bought more. I bought a few bottles "as gifts" that I probably won't give to anyone but myself.

I didn't make it for Zoya's sale but I'm hoping for a Cyber Monday deal from them. They usually do mystery boxes...it's a crapshoot with those but I usually take a chance.
